takin’ pictures

I’m actually looking to buy a digital camera to make with the pictures and such. I’m not really sure what I should do about looking for one tho. I already had a lead from someone on Twitter, and the camera is pretty awesome from what I have seen so far. But am I really going to spend $200+ on a camera that will rarely see the light of day?

I mean, I in no way plan on carrying the camera around with me all the time like some tourist or something. I just want one to take pictures. Pictures to remind me of stuff that has happened the the people I know. Memories are awesome, but our minds kinda suck sometime in organizing them or even getting our memories right.

If any of you have any suggestions, that would be totally awesome. I’m kinda stuck here at the moment if I really want to buy one or not and any help is always welcome.
